Samoëns

Samoëns offers excellent facilities for great holidays in summer. Located in the heart of the French Alps nestling at the foot of the majestic Criou mountain it is just an hour away by road from Geneva. It offers fantastic Alpine charm and scenery married with great out door activities
Samoëns is a traditional Savoyard market town and has been awarded the coveted Coq d'Or, placing it among the top five most beautiful French villages. It is the only village classified by the "Caisse Nationale des Monuments Historiques". The guided visits are an excellent way to discover the history and traditional Alpine atmosphere of the town and its surrounding hamlets. Samoens is within easy driving distance of the pretty villages of Morillon, Verchaix and Sixt.
There are many varied activities available throughout the year, Samoens and the Grand Massif area is definitely not just for skiing!
