In the main terminal the car hire desks are just across from arrivals. When exiting, look to your left after leaving customs. There are a number of car hire companies to serve you.

The French sector is served by Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Sixt and National. If you hire a car in the French sector, chances are the car you rent will not have a Vignette. A Vignette is the highway sticker need to drive on Swiss Motorways. Without it you risk a fine. The cost to buy a Vignette is 40 Swiss Francs.

The nearest airport to Samoëns is Geneva. Geneva airport is only 1 hour's drive away and is dual carriageway motorway all the way.
