Samoëns House on the

It is located in the heart of the French Alps and at the heart of the valley of the Haut-Giffre, nestling at the foot of the majestic Criou mountain, just over 1 hour away by road from Geneva.

About Samoëns Samoëns is a traditional Savoyard market town and has been awarded the coveted Coq d'Or, placing it among the top five most beautiful French villages. It is the only village classified by the "Caisse Nationale des Monuments Historiques". The guided visits are an excellent way to discover the history and traditional Alpine atmosphere of the town and its surrounding hamlets which is a great alternative to other livelier spots. Being situated right in the middle of the Grand Massif, which includes the resorts of Morillon, Flaine, Sixt Fer à Cheval and Les Carroz there is ready access to over 265 km of pistes, between 700 and 2500 m, covering one of the most spectacular skiing areas in the Alps. |
